Equipment Nameplate Types We Manufacture

From regulatory power ratings to complex wiring diagrams, we produce durable metal plates built for specific equipment functions:

Industrial equipment rating plates with open fields for serial number and model stamping

Machine Rating Plates

Carries critical data including voltage, serial numbers, model codes, and regulatory marks. Available with blank windows left open for manual stamping or on-demand laser marking at your factory.

Chemically etched metal instruction plate with dense fine-line engraved text

Schematic & Diagram Plates

High-contrast wiring schematics, hydraulic circuits, and valve charts. Micro-line chemical etching ensures dense text and thin lines never smudge or wipe off during maintenance.

Metal machine safety warning plate with color fills alongside industrial rating nameplates

Safety & Warning Plates

High-visibility warning and caution plates for moving parts, high voltage, and emergency shut-offs. Multi-color baked enamel fills stay bright in greasy, dusty environments.

Engraved metal equipment labels for machine panels and control consoles

Console & Indicator Plates

Front faceplates and directional dials with precision CNC cutouts. Designed to align tightly with toggle switches, rotary knobs, gauges, and status LEDs.

How We Solve for Harsh Operating Environments

Industrial equipment gets wiped down with solvents, covered in grease, and exposed to weather. Here is how we engineer your text and ratings to stay readable under those conditions:

Chemically etched stainless steel plate showing paint recessed below metal surface

Recessed Etching & Baked Enamel

WHAT WE DO

We etch your text deep into the metal and bake industrial enamel inside the grooves.

WHY IT WORKS

Because the paint sits below the surface, oily rags and scrapers reach only the bare metal, so the legends are protected from direct abrasion.

Laser engraved metal plate showing dark permanent markings with zero ink

Ink-Free Fiber Laser Engraving

WHAT WE DO

We burn your numbers and graphics directly into the metal with high-power lasers—zero ink used.

WHY IT WORKS

Without ink, harsh chemicals like acetone, brake cleaner, and diesel have nothing to dissolve or wash away.

Sealed anodized aluminum nameplate with graphics locked inside the metal layer

Sealed Anodized Aluminum

WHAT WE DO

We dye your design directly into the aluminum’s microscopic surface layer, then seal it shut.

WHY IT WORKS

The marking becomes part of the metal itself, so there is no adhesive layer to peel or printed film to flake, unlike a surface sticker.

Materials, Thicknesses & Custom Options

Every machine has different mounting points and working conditions. We stock standard industrial alloys across multiple thicknesses, cut and finished to your exact equipment specifications:

Stainless steel, aluminum and brass sample plates showing different alloy finishes

Metal Alloys

Stainless Steel (304 / 316)
Corrosion-resistant and chemical-resistant for wet or outdoor machinery.

Aluminum (5052)
Lightweight, rigid, and available in custom anodized colors.

Solid Brass
Heavy, premium feel for valves, pumps, and legacy equipment.

Metal nameplates in various thicknesses from thin flexible gauge to rigid heavy plate

Plate Thicknesses

Thin Gauges (0.5 mm – 0.8 mm)
Lightweight and slightly flexible to mount cleanly on curved machine covers.

Heavy Gauges (1.0 mm – 3.0 mm)
Rigid, heavy-duty plates that resist impact on machine frames and castings.

Close-up of burr-free rounded corners and smooth edges on metal plate

Safe Corners & Edges

Burr-Free Rounded Corners
Pre-radiused corners (R1 to R5 mm) so assembly line workers avoid cuts during handling.

Smooth Deburred Edges
Precision-cut edges that sit perfectly flat against your machine’s surface.

Countersunk mounting holes on custom metal equipment plate showing flush screw fit

Holes & Cutouts

Countersunk Holes
Pre-machined so flat-head screws sit completely flush with the plate surface.

Custom Slots & Shapes
Hole patterns and shapes matched directly to your machine’s bolt coordinates.

Have an Old Plate or a New Drawing?

Many equipment builders don’t have original vector CAD files for older machines—just an old physical plate unscrewed from the field. Whether you need an exact replacement or a new production run, here is how we handle it:

Physical comparison between an old equipment plate and newly manufactured replacement plate

Working from an Old Plate or Photo

STEP A

Mail an old sample to our facility, or send high-resolution photos with a ruler for scale.

STEP B

Our engineers reconstruct the CAD layout, match fonts, and verify hole coordinates before production.

2D mechanical CAD drawing of equipment nameplate with dimensional tolerances

Working from a New CAD Drawing

STEP A

Send your 2D/3D drawing (STEP, DXF, DWG) or dimensioned PDF.

STEP B

We review hole tolerances and edge clearances, confirming pricing and production feasibility within 24 hours.

Direct Machine Test-Fitting

We provide high-resolution macro photos or mail a physical pre-production sample for direct test-fitting on your machine frame. Full batch manufacturing begins only after your sign-off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the mounting holes align with my machine’s bolt pattern?

Yes. Hole locations and outer edges are CNC-machined or stamped to tight tolerances (±0.1 mm) so screws drop into your threaded machine holes without binding.

Can you clearly etch very small text and complex diagrams?

Yes. Chemical etching handles fine text down to 0.8 mm (about 3 pt font) and tight schematic lines with no ink bleeding or blur.

Do I need to pay a tooling fee for standard rectangular plates?

Not for most plates. We have an extensive in-house die library covering standard sizes and corner hole patterns. Tooling is only required for unique 3D shapes or custom cutouts.

Can you leave blank windows for us to stamp serial numbers on the assembly line?

Yes. We etch all your fixed ratings, logos, and box borders while leaving bare, smooth metal fields so your workers can stamp or laser-mark serial numbers on demand.

How long do samples and production take?

Pre-production samples take about 7 days. Once you approve the sample, bulk production takes 12 to 20 days.
