Description
Appliance housings, luggage shells, and finished wood cabinets share one constraint: none of them should be drilled for a mount. Adhesive bonding solves that by bonding the badge flat to the surface instead. The back face and film thickness matter more here than any mounting hardware. Sizes & thickness
Adhesive badges span 20mm to 80mm, with overall thickness 1mm to 3mm since there’s no pin or stud to clear. VHB adhesive film runs 0.5mm to 1.1mm depending on how much the mounting surface flexes.
Metals and finishes
Nickel electroforming or thin zinc-alloy casting both suit adhesive mounting since the back face stays flat without a post. Chrome, brushed, or matte-black finishes are all available; PVD coating holds up better outdoors than painted color-fill.
