Description

A pin mount pushes through fabric or a thin panel and locks from the back, which holds a badge in place better than adhesive on anything that flexes or gets handled often. Himgo sets pin length and spacing to the material the badge will attach to before production starts.

Material and finish choices

Zinc alloy or brass both hold a pin or stud securely once cast or stamped with the mounting post built in. Plating runs 5-25 micron in chrome, gold, or nickel; painted color-fill is common on lapel-style badges.

Standard size guide

Pin-mount badges sit in the 30mm to 60mm range, smaller than adhesive or grille-mounted pieces since they’re worn or handled rather than fixed to a panel. Pin length is set separately from badge thickness, usually 8-12mm depending on the backing.
