Description
A vehicle badge usually carries two kinds of marks: a brand logo on the hood or trunk, and a model or trim name lower on the body. Himgo casts or stamps both from one drawing, matching shape and relief to how the badge will be viewed and mounted. Zinc alloy handles curved, raised logos. Aluminum or stainless steel suits flatter model lettering.
Sizes & thickness
Common diameters run 40mm, 60mm, 80mm, and 100mm. Overall thickness lands between 2mm and 5mm once studs or pins are factored in, with tolerance held to +/-0.10-0.20mm across a production run. Send the exact footprint from your drawing so Himgo can match it to the mounting point.
Metals and finishes
Zinc alloy (Zamak) is cast 1-6mm thick, with a die-cast wall of 0.8-1.2mm and relief up to 3mm for raised logos. Aluminum, stainless, nickel, and brass cover flatter, stamped designs. Plating runs 5-25 micron in chrome, gold, or nickel tones; PVD adds gun-black, rose gold, or matte black.
