Laser Engraved Metal Nameplates
Laser-engraved nameplates in aluminum or stainless steel, marked to a depth of 0.01-0.05mm for marks that resist wear. Built from your drawing, with optional serial or QR data.
Description
Machine builders often need a nameplate that keeps its mark after years of cleaning solvents and vibration. Laser engraving burns text and codes directly into the metal surface, at a mark depth of roughly 0.01-0.05mm. No ink is added afterward to chip or fade. Himgo produces these plates from your drawing file. Font size and layout are matched to fit small control panels or larger equipment tags.
Applications
- Serial numbers, date codes, or QR codes added during the same laser pass
- Control-panel labels where text must stay legible near heat or oil
- Rating and spec plates on machinery sold across different sites
- Brand nameplates on equipment housings needing a fine, consistent line
Material and finish choices
Aluminum 5052/6061 and stainless 304/316 both take a laser mark well. Anodized aluminum (5-25 micron) shows the engraved line as a light mark against a darker background, useful for reading at a distance. Brushed stainless (Ra 0.4-1.2 micron) keeps the mark visible without extra ink. Mirror and matte finishes are also available for lighter contrast needs.
Standard size guide
Common formats run 80x40mm, 100x60mm, 120x80mm, 150x100mm, and 200x100mm, in thickness from 0.3mm to 3mm. Larger or smaller plates are cut to your drawing, with a tolerance of about +/-0.10mm.
