Engraved Serial Number Nameplates
Nameplates engraved with serial numbers, batch codes, or QR data from your sequence file, each mark held consistent across the full run.
Description
Tracking equipment across a production run means every plate needs its own number. Himgo engraves serial numbers, batch codes, or QR data plate by plate from a single sequence file you supply. Each mark stays consistent in size and depth. A scanner or inspector reads plate one and plate one thousand the same way.
Build options
Aluminum and stainless steel both hold serial data well under laser engraving, at a mark depth around 0.01-0.05mm. Anodized aluminum gives strong contrast for barcodes; brushed stainless suits environments with heavier handling. Brass is available where a plate also carries a brand mark alongside the serial field.
Common dimensions
Serial plates commonly run 80x40mm or 100x60mm, thin enough for panel mounting at 0.3-1mm. Larger formats up to 200x100mm work when the serial field sits next to other spec data. Custom sizes follow your drawing.
Fit & applications
- Sequential asset numbering across a production batch
- QR or barcode fields linked to a maintenance database
- Serialized rating plates required for audit or warranty records
- Model plates combining fixed text with a unique running number
Typical applications
| Industry / setting | How this product is used |
|---|---|
| Industrial pumps and compressors | Riveted serial-number plates mounted on the housing exterior track the unit through warranty claims and service records. |
| Fleet trailers and generators | Serial plates fastened near the chassis data point let technicians log the unit into maintenance and asset-tracking systems. |
| Construction and lifting equipment | Serial-number plates on crane and hoist frames get cross-referenced against load-rating certificates during inspections. |
| HVAC rooftop units | Serial plates mounted inside the access panel are matched against installation records when technicians pull replacement parts. |
| Refurbished machinery | Re-applied serial plates preserve the original unit number when equipment changes ownership or gets rebuilt. |
