Engraved Aluminum Nameplates
Laser or mechanically engraved aluminum plates for serial numbers and other data that changes from unit to unit.
Description
Serial numbers and other variable data change from one unit to the next. Printing a new plate for each isn’t practical. Laser engraving marks each plate individually, cutting a fine line straight from a data file. Mechanical or CNC engraving is the alternative for deeper, more tactile marks.
Build options
Aluminum with an anodized, brushed, or matte finish. Laser engraving handles variable data at a shallow mark depth; CNC engraving cuts deeper where the mark needs more contrast. Deeper engraving also reads well under angled light or a quick visual check. Either process leaves a mark that resists rubbing off during handling.
Common dimensions
Compact formats from 40x20mm up to 150x100mm. Thickness typically runs 0.3-2mm for engraved plates.
