Etched stainless steel nameplates with recessed lines around 0.02-0.15mm deep, suited to color fill and frequent cleaning.
Description
A recessed line holds paint fill better than a surface print, especially on equipment wiped down often. Etching stainless steel 304 or 316 cuts the artwork into the metal, roughly 0.02-0.15mm deep. The recess then takes a color fill without the paint sitting proud of the surface.
Metals & surface options
Both 304 and 316 etch cleanly at a minimum line width near 0.30mm on steel. Brushed or matte surfaces are typical after etching. Color fill in the recessed lines is optional, and natural metal etching without fill also reads clearly.
