A barcode tag mounted entirely with adhesive backing, built for housings and surfaces that can’t be drilled.
Description
Not every surface can take a drilled hole. Thin plastic housings, sealed enclosures, and rented equipment all rule out fasteners. An adhesive barcode tag fits there: a metal body carrying a printed or laser-marked barcode, bonded flat with adhesive backing, no drilling or rivets required.

Material and finish choices
Aluminum keeps the tag light for plastic and thin-wall housings; stainless suits equipment handled more often. Anodized or matte finish cuts glare for a clean scan. The adhesive layer is sized to the tag, using 3M or VHB backing film. Both metals carry the same barcode format, so switching between them doesn’t change how it scans.
Standard size guide
40x15mm and 25x25mm are usual, both thin enough for a low profile once bonded down. Larger formats fit a longer barcode data string. Custom sizes follow a drawing.
