A QR tag mounted entirely with adhesive backing — no holes, no rivets. Fits housings and surfaces where drilling isn’t an option.
Description
Some housings can’t be drilled without breaking a seal or voiding a warranty. An adhesive-mount tag solves that: no holes, no rivets, just a metal body bonded flat to the surface with a laser-marked QR code underneath.
Build options
Aluminum keeps the tag light for plastic or thin-wall housings; stainless suits equipment handled more often. Anodized, brushed, or matte finish depends on glare needs. The code is laser-marked or etched, then backed with 3M or VHB adhesive film sized to the tag. Both routes carry the same QR code, just on a different metal.
Common dimensions
40x15mm and 25x25mm cover most small-equipment jobs. Adhesive-backed tags run thin, generally under 1mm including the film, for a low profile on curved surfaces. Custom cuts follow a drawing.
