3D Brand Metal Badges
A 3D badge that follows a logo’s actual outline instead of a standard rectangle. Shape, relief, and finish are decided together from the artwork.
Description
Not every brand mark fits inside a rectangle. A 3D badge follows the actual outline of a logo, a shield, a wordmark, an icon, instead of trimming it to a standard shape. The outline, the raised depth, and the mounting method get decided together so the finished badge reads correctly from any angle.
Applications
- Automotive badges shaped to a brand’s exact logo outline
- Motorcycle and truck badges mounted on tanks, panels, or trim
- Consumer product badges applied to appliance or equipment fronts
- Decorative brand parts for retail displays or packaging inserts
Material and finish choices
Zinc alloy handles most custom outlines because die casting reproduces sharp corners and thin sections reliably. Nickel and aluminum are options where a lighter badge is needed. Chrome, gold-tone, or matte black plating, and PVD coatings, finish the surface once the shape is confirmed.
Standard size guide
Badges commonly measure 40mm, 60mm, 80mm, or 100mm along the longest edge, with overall size from roughly 30mm to 120mm. Outline complexity, not just size, affects how the shape is tooled. Custom outlines are cut to your logo file.

| Truck fleet branding | Badge applied to cab doors or sleeper panels to mark a fleet operator’s own brand alongside the OEM emblem. |
| Furniture and cabinetry brands | Small 3D badge set into a recessed pocket on drawer fronts or headboards to mark the maker’s name on finished pieces. |
