Description
A flat printed logo reads fine up close. A badge on a hood or dashboard needs more: it has to catch light and throw a shadow. A raised 3D emblem lifts the logo off the base plate instead of leaving it flush. Relief height and base thickness are set from the artwork, so the shape holds up at a distance and under different light.

Common sizes
Most raised emblems run 40mm, 60mm, 80mm, or 100mm, with overall size 30-120mm and thickness 2-5mm. Relief sits in the 0.5-3mm range, depending on logo depth. Any size or shape can be cut to your drawing.
Materials & finishes
Zinc alloy is the usual base for cast relief, with aluminum, stainless, and nickel used for specific projects. Plating, paint, or a PVD coating go over the cast shape once the relief is confirmed. The finish is matched to the surrounding part rather than fixed in advance.
