Description
A visible nameplate on customer-facing equipment says something about the build quality inside. Brushing the stainless surface to Ra 0.4-1.2 micron gives a consistent directional texture. It hides fingerprints and light scratches better than a mirror finish. Himgo brushes the blank before etching, engraving, or printing the mark.

Materials & finishes
304 or 316 stainless both take a brushed finish. The mark itself layers onto the brushed surface through etching, laser engraving, or printing, without breaking the grain pattern.
