Custom Grille Car Emblems

Grille emblems carry more mechanical stress than other placements, so mounting-point strength gets reviewed before the finish.

SKU: HMG-CCE-003 Categories: ,

Description

A grille emblem takes more mechanical stress than a rear or side badge – vibration, washing, occasional stone impact. Himgo reviews the mounting studs or screw points against the grille material before confirming wall thickness. Mount strength gets checked first here, before the finish is set.

Where it fits

  • Front grille brand-logo emblems
  • Bumper-mounted badges needing rigid mounting
  • Truck and SUV grille badges
  • Motorcycle front-fascia emblems
  • Badges set into a cut grille opening

Common sizes

Grille badges sit at the larger end of the range, 80mm to 100mm, with thickness 3-5mm to hold rigidity through the mounting studs. Tolerance is held to +/-0.10-0.20mm so the badge seats flush in the opening.

Materials & finishes

Zinc-alloy die casting gives the wall strength (0.8-1.2mm) this position needs; stainless steel is an option where a grille sees road salt or wash chemicals. Chrome or nickel plating runs 5-25 micron; painted finishes suit two-tone grilles.
