Sizes & thickness
304 blanks run in thickness from 0.3mm to 5mm, in common sizes from 80x40mm up to 200x100mm. Thicker stock suits plates mounted with screws or rivets; thinner stock works well with adhesive backing.
Metals and finishes
304 takes etching, laser engraving, or screen printing without special prep. Brushed (Ra 0.4-1.2 micron), matte, and natural mill finishes are all common. Painted or plated surfaces are also possible where brand color matters more than bare metal.
