An engraved label built for a model or serial number that has to stay legible across production batches.
Description
A model number that changes between batches still needs a mark that won’t rub off. Laser engraving cuts that data straight into the metal, so it reads the same after years of handling.
Build options
Aluminum and stainless steel both work well, in anodized, brushed, or matte finish depending on the surface. Laser engraving handles variable data such as serial numbers cleanly, batch to batch. Etching is used instead when the same number repeats across a full run.
Common dimensions
Sizes run 40x20mm and 60x30mm, in 0.2-1mm stock. Mounting is by adhesive backing or drilled holes, depending on the housing, and thickness can move up slightly for a plate that also carries a logo.
