Peel-and-stick aluminum asset tags for surfaces that can’t be drilled, using a 3M/VHB adhesive backing.
Description
Some equipment surfaces can’t be drilled for a mounting hole. An adhesive-backed aluminum tag solves that with a peel-and-stick VHB layer instead. The thin aluminum body keeps the tag low-profile once it’s applied.
Build options
Aluminum alloy at 0.3-1.5mm gives a stable base for the adhesive layer. Anodized or matte finish both bond well with 3M/VHB backing. Himgo checks the mounting surface material during drawing review, since some plastics and coated metals need a different adhesive grade. Surface prep instructions ship with each order to help the bond hold.
Common dimensions
25x25mm and 30mm round suit small housings and enclosures. 40x15mm fits narrow panel edges. Any footprint can be matched to your drawing.
