Description
Not every stainless tag needs the same grade. A tag bolted inside a dry cabinet faces different conditions than one hanging on a pipe outdoors. The grade should match the environment, not the job title.

Material and finish choices
304 stainless covers most indoor and general outdoor use. 316 adds molybdenum for better resistance where salt or chemicals are present. Both take a brushed or natural finish, and both engrave to the same fine mark depth.
Standard size guide
40x20mm and 50x25mm cover most general tags. A 35mm round suits valve or gauge marking. Confirm exact dimensions against your drawing.
