Description
A tag only does its job if the text stays readable after years of wiping and handling. Laser engraving cuts into stainless steel rather than sitting above the surface. The mark stays legible long after a printed label would fade or peel away.

Common sizes
40x20mm and 50x25mm hold most part numbers and short text. A 35mm round fits gauge and valve tags. A 75x20mm strip suits a longer part description. Confirm hole placement against your drawing.
Materials & finishes
304 or 316 stainless is engraved to a depth of 0.01-0.05mm, deep enough to survive routine cleaning. Brushed finish disguises light wear; natural finish gives the cleanest contrast.
