Etching and laser marking both cut into metal, but they suit different equipment labels. Himgo picks the process based on the artwork’s detail level and the metal it runs on.
Metals & surface options
Chemical etching holds finer detail lines on aluminum, useful for small text or dense artwork. Laser marking runs faster on stainless for a single-pass mark. Brushed finish is common on both, since it hides the handling marks around the engraved area.
