Description
A barcode scanner needs clean, separated bars more than it needs a decorative surface. Stainless steel gives that flat, laser-markable face while standing up to rough handling. Each tag in a batch carries its own sequential barcode value.
Build options

Common dimensions
75x25mm and 50x20mm give enough flat width for a barcode plus text. Compact equipment can use a smaller footprint from the same size range. Thickness runs 0.3-1.5mm. Wider formats can be sized to your drawing.
