Description
A QR code needs a mark that stays crisp even where the tag gets washed down or handled roughly. Stainless steel holds that mark better than a lighter-gauge tag in harsh conditions. The code still needs enough contrast against the metal for a phone camera to read it.
Sizes & thickness
40x15mm and 75x25mm leave room for a QR module plus a reference number. 30mm round works for compact equipment. Thickness runs 0.3-1.5mm, toward the heavier end for outdoor duty. Other footprints can be matched to your drawing.
Metals and finishes
304 or 316 stainless resists the scratching that can break up a QR pattern over time. Brushed or matte finish gives contrast without excess glare under a scan. Himgo sizes the QR module count to fit your data string and tag footprint.
