Sizes & thickness
40x20mm is the most common footprint for a single code field. Thickness runs as thin as 0.2mm for adhesive-only labels, up to 1mm when the label also takes mounting holes. 30x30mm suits a square code or QR field. Any size cuts to your drawing.
Metals and finishes
Aluminum, etched then sealed with a matte finish, is the standard route for indoor equipment. Stainless 304 replaces it where the area sees washdown or outdoor exposure. Brushed finish hides handling marks around the code field.
