Description
A tag bolted to heavy machinery takes more abuse than one glued to a panel. Vibration, impact, and rough handling all work against it. A heavier stainless gauge and a mechanical fastener hold up where a thin tag would not.
Metals & surface options
304 or 316 stainless runs up to 2mm thick in the heavy-duty range, against 0.5-1mm for lighter tags. That extra thickness resists bending when a wrench or heavy cable catches an edge. It also keeps a stamped part number sharp under repeated impact.
