Engraved Metal Logo Plates
Logo plates engraved or etched into the metal so the mark can’t peel or fade. Line depth and width matched to your artwork.
Description
Printed ink fades under sunlight and cleaning chemicals faster than buyers expect. Cutting the logo into the metal itself avoids that problem. The mark can’t wear off, peel, or fade, since it’s part of the surface.
Build options
Chemical etching holds fine lines down to 0.25mm on aluminum, 0.30mm on steel, at a depth around 0.02-0.15mm. Laser engraving cuts shallower, near 0.01-0.05mm. It suits smaller text or thin strokes. Both processes work on aluminum, stainless, or brass.
Common dimensions
30mm, 50mm, 80mm, and 120mm are the sizes ordered most. Any size is available from your file.
Fit & applications
- Logo plates where printed ink would wear off too fast
- Equipment panels needing a permanent, tamper-resistant mark
- Fine-line logos with small text or thin strokes
- Plates for outdoor or high-contact locations
- Serial or batch marks that need to stay legible for years
Typical applications
| Industry / setting | How this product is used |
|---|---|
| Power tool manufacturing | Engraved plate riveted to a drill, saw, or grinder body next to the model number, holding fine detail that printed labels can’t match. |
| Precision instrument panels | Engraved plate mounted beside a gauge or meter dial on test equipment, where recessed lines stay legible after years of handling. |
| Machine tool control consoles | Engraved plate fixed to a CNC or lathe control console, paired with engraved button and switch labels on the same panel. |
| Laboratory equipment | Engraved plate applied to a centrifuge, incubator, or balance housing, holding up to repeated cleaning with lab solvents. |
| Firearm case and safe manufacturing | Engraved plate inset into the lid of a hard case or safe, giving a permanent mark that won’t wear off with handling. |
