Description
Weight matters on some installations — a panel with dozens of small tags, or a housing where every gram counts. Aluminum keeps an engraved tag light without giving up a durable, legible mark.
Sizes & thickness
Aluminum tags commonly run 0.3-1mm thick, thinner than the stainless equivalents, in 40x20mm or 50x25mm formats. A 75x20mm size suits longer labels. Any size cuts to your drawing.
Metals and finishes
Anodizing before engraving adds a colored layer 5-25 microns thick, up to 70 microns for hard anodize. The engraved mark shows through to bare metal for contrast, giving a two-tone look without paint or ink. Brushed or matte plain aluminum is also available.
