316 Stainless Steel Nameplates

316 stainless steel nameplates for coastal, washdown, or chemical-plant equipment where 304 wears faster than expected.

SKU: HMG-SSN-002 Categories: ,

Description

Coastal air, cleaning chemicals, and washdown wear through 304 steel fast. Plants often see this happen sooner than planned. 316 stainless adds molybdenum to the mix. That gives it more resistance in salty or harsh settings. Himgo uses 316 for nameplates that stay exposed long-term.

Build options

316 uses the same etching, laser, and print steps as 304. Thickness stays the same too: 0.3-5mm. It fits sites with the highest corrosion risk. Marine, coastal, and chemical-plant sites are common cases.

Common dimensions

Sizes match the standard range for nameplates: 80x40mm to 200x100mm, at 0.3-5mm thick. Bigger plates and custom cutouts follow your drawing.

Fit & applications

  • Marine and coastal gear with steady salt exposure.
  • Food, drink, and pharma washdown areas.
  • Chemical-plant machines exposed to harsh agents.
  • Any 304 part wearing out faster than planned.

Typical applications

Industry / setting How this product is used
Marine deck and hull equipment 316 nameplates resist the continuous saltwater spray and salt-air corrosion that pits lower-grade stainless.
Coastal desalination and water treatment plants 316 plates on pumps and piping hold up to high-chloride process water.
Chemical processing plants 316 data plates on reactors and piping resist the acidic and caustic washdown common in these environments.
Offshore oil and gas platforms 316 plates on deck equipment resist salt spray and sour-gas atmospheres.
